Well, it certainly has been quite some time since I wandered this way. Too much has happened since I was an active member of DeviantArt to attempt to catch anyone up on it all, much less document it. However, what with one thing and another, it looks like I will, for the next few days, have a complete set of equiptment; car, camera, film, darkroom, chemicals, enlargers, paper, and (rarest of all) TIME (as well as all of my.... other gear... green pants, gray shirt, grapling hook, lockpics, glowies, thin shoes, BMX gloves, a blanket, gumdrops, my pack, and of course, some food). Everything is coming together for a weekend of photo, and here's why: I'll only have the cemera for a little while longer, as I have to give it back soon, the weekend will be warm, which will allow me to resume my old comm-tower series, I'm going on break in two days, so I'll have some time, and I'm leaving my car back in MA after this weekend, so if I want to get out and about, it's now or never.

I've been thinking recently about truely starting back up, but I just don't think it's practical; I won't have a camera for more than a few months, which isn't nearly enough time to really get my name out there in the area. On the other hand, anothe rpart of me is saying "why not go full-bore right now while you're borrowing a camera, see how it goes, and then decide if it's worth it to buy one for yourself." We'll see.

Long story short, I'm not exactly BACK, but I'm considering it. I'm going to copy all my pics off of this site and take them offline (I'll leave any that have been faved, I suppose). Why am I posting this at all? Accountability! I'm GOING TO HUNT FOR MOMENTS OVER THE WEEKEND. There, now I said it, and if I don't do it I'll feel silly.
